Sheléa Delivers a Statement With New Single “We the People”

Acclaimed singer, songwriter, pianist, and actress Sheléa aims for the heartstrings with her latest release, “We The People.” Penned in collaboration with two-time Academy® Award-winning duo Alan and Marilyn Bergman, the recording highlights Sheléa’s electrifying and seismic voice, while bringing hope to all Americans.

In recent weeks, Sheléa contributed a version of the Christmas classic “Silent Light” to The CW special SILENT NIGHT – A SONG FOR THE WORLD, which premieres Thursday December 10. Plus, she lends her voice to Stevie Mackey’s upcoming Christmas album alongside other heavy-hitters such as Jennifer LopezJoJoJessie J, and more.

With widespread comparison to the vocal expertise of legendary Whitney Houston, and the piano prowess of Alicia Keys, it’s no surprise that artist and actress Sheléa (pronounced shuh-lay-yuh) has garnered co-signs from the likes of Stevie Wonder, Mary J.
